Yellow head fixed to orange shaft has two degrees of freedom:
- Rotation around vertical axis.
- Translation along vertical axis.
Each motion is controlled by a step motor.
Circular teeth of the shaft maintains the gear-rack mesh while the shaft rotates.
Blue motor shaft has prismatic joint with the orange shaft (sliding keys).
