Turning angle of ordinary spherical joints can not exceed 180 deg.
This joint doesn’t have such limitation. In fact it is a Hook joint.
Blue sphere has two circular dovetail grooves that are perpendicular to each other. The sphere is divided into two for assembling pink and yellow parts.
